Ricoh has unveiled its latest color wide-format device to help architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) firms capture, transform, and manage information quickly and simply. The compact Ricoh MP CW2201SP makes sharing wide-format technical drawings, schematics, presentations, and other information easier than ever.
The Ricoh MP CW2201SP's improved user interface, in the form of Ricoh's next-generation Smart Operation Panel, was designed with a focus on how these users actually interact with the device. Among the ways this workstyle innovation technology facilitates speed and ease-of-use are the automatic, customizable surfacing of frequently used functions; driverless near-field communication (NFC) printing, and sharing from mobile devices; and preconfigured print settings for the kinds of specialized documents these firms use. While the Ricoh MP CW2201SP occupies a small physical footprint, its reach throughout an organization is immense. With the ability to securely scan documents directly to a variety of destinations, including USB, SD card, email, folders, URL, FTP, and document servers, this device helps ensure all collaborators are on the same page quickly. The Ricoh MP CW2201SP's specialized print-head configuration improves print quality and significantly enhances print productivity by 190 percent for color and 119 percent for black-and-white pages. That level of quality and precision also means less need for reprints, further saving time and resources.
