Connect Broadband, the telecom arm of the Videocon Group, has collaborated with Indian mobile wallet major MobiKwik to offer and promote cashless digital transactions.

As a part of this strategic tie-up, any Connect Broadband customer who makes his connect broadband bill payment using the MobiKwik wallet service can avail a cash-back of up to 150 or 15 percent of the bill amount, whichever is lower.

The company feels that this endeavor will promote use of digital payments among its users and support the era of Digital India movement. Currently, approximately
9 percent of the company's bill payments are made using the wallet mode, and with this promotion, Connect Broadband is expecting the percentage to grow to 30 percent within the next couple of months.
