Reliance Communications said the liquidation case filed by Fortuna Public Relations Private Limited against it is “misconceived, premature and motivated by extraneous considerations.”

Media reports had sprung up saying that Fortuna PR had filed for liquidation of RCom to recover its dues.

However, said RCom, the total bill that has been submitted by the PR agency is only Rs.47.65 lakh, which, it pointed out was ‘not material’ for a company like RCom.

“The quality of service and the amount billed are disputed,” it added.

The matter is listed for hearing on December 19, 2017 at NCLT, Mumbai bench, it added.
